What will your typical day look like?

 

As an Analyst in Real Estate Advisory, you will be a key part of your team, with typical responsibilities including:

  • Undertake real estate research for our team and clients across all sectors of the Canadian real estate marketplace, covering all assets (office, industrial, retail, multi-residential, institutional and land etc.)
  • Prepare high impact technical marketing documents including proposals, presentations, research reports, RFQ/RFP responses, etc. as required;
  • Assist in financial analysis including ARGUS, and the development of custom financial and economic models to support business cases and investment decisions;
  • Prepare from inception, proposals and reports related to a broad variety of assignments;
  • Research data, analytics and marketplace trends to support client reports, business cases and assumptions used in financial analytics and real estate valuation assignments;
  • Gain a solid understanding of the Canadian real estate advisory marketplace among corporations, government, investors, pension funds, real estate operating companies, REITs, financial institutions, and other market participants;
  • Provide quality input along with enthusiastic contribution and support to our internal and external client requirements and be a solid contributor to the team.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone who:

  • Is currently enrolled in an post-secondary degree, preferably in a Real Estate program
  • Is familiar with commercial real estate fundamentals
  • Demonstrates business case writing and financial analytical skills, with attention to detail is vital for this role.
  • Has strong familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel is crucial; Argus / Enterprise is an asset.
  • Is interested in problem solving and project management
  • Possess strong interpersonal abilities and demonstrated ability to work in a team are important attributes.
  • Is able to produce creative client materials for proposals, reports, workshops, and other deliverables.
