What will your typical day look like?

You will be primarily responsible to gather requirements, design, build, and maintain the business processes in UiPath. You will identify opportunities for innovation in client service delivery and process efficiency. You will participate in various types of technology projects other than business process automation. You will collaborate with ITS teams to ensure best practices are followed as per our Global Technology Operating Model (GTOM). You will work primarily out of the Deloitte Toronto location though travel may be required around various offices.

About the team

The Tax Technology team is focused on enabling the effective use of technology throughout our tax practice.
To do so, we invest in understanding the tax business, its service lines, and processes. The technology team is comprised of dedicated technology professionals.
Solutions may focus as narrowly as a specific business process within a service line to broad, national solutions enabling our entire tax team across Canada or solutions for direct use by external tax clients.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has/is: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Business Process Automation across the life cycle, using industry’s leading Robotics Automation products (Preferably UiPath
  • Hands-on experience in scripting languages (e.g., VB script, SQL Development, VBA, Excel Macros, PowerShell, Java, Perl etc.)
  • Experience on or willingness to work with the tools like PowerBI, Tableau, MS PowerApps, SSIS, Alteryx, Contract Express etc. would be an asset
  • Understanding of SDLC process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate as the primary resource on a project
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  • Self-driven and has the ability to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team.
