Role Description:


As an Analyst in the Canadian International Office, you will join a Deloitte team that focuses on the implementation of the Canadian member firm’s international market strategy. You will partner with our various Country Services Groups to serve our clients’ international needs, and collaborate with other member firms’ international groups to grow Deloitte as a whole.

You will play an important role in researching economic and trade facts, building executive briefing documents, conducting market research, managing reporting and authoring presentations.  You will also have the opportunity to work on broad range of ad-hoc assignments from corporate development to process design to survey design and execution.  You will be part of a small collaborative team that works frequently with practitioners in external and internal client service.  This role provides a unique experience to gain an understanding at both a functional and strategic level of a world-class organization.

We will treat you like a full time professional, which means helping you to refine and develop your professional services skills as well as to increase your knowledge of international trade and business development through formal and on the job training. We will provide you with mentoring, coaching and training throughout your term with us, and an ongoing evaluation process to help steer your continued professional development.



As an Analyst, you must demonstrate an interest in the world of international trade and business, and have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Students enrolled in an undergraduate Business, Economics, or Finance program
  • Preference of an International Business focus
  • Enrollment in formal co-operative program
  • Outstanding academic credentials with proven analytical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines and constantly changing client needs and conditions
  • A creative bent with the ability to conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  • Comfort working with Microsoft Office suite and new technologies
  • Flexibility, humility, integrity and professionalism
  • Exemplary record of achievement
  • A desire to be a contributing member of the community
