What will your typical day look like?
  • Manage end to end delivery of projects with hands on involvement in the development and configuration of projects. Enforces standards, procedures, and methodologies for the software development life cycle.
  • Analyze emerging technologies, influences technology decisions and direction of project solutions.
  • Collaborate with product team members to fully understand business requirements and create clear architectural deliverables to achieve the client requirements.
  • Monitors progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks timely. Leads the delivery, implementation, and improvement of all applicable channel processes, methodologies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide on-going support to business and content teams on strategic technology platform, quality assurance and issue resolution.
  • Interact with stakeholders and has the executive presence to influence direction, sell ideas, roadmaps, and approaches.
  • Directly manages and mentors development team members. 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
  • Completed undergraduate or graduate degree (or equivalent work experience) in and of the following areas: Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Management.
  •  5 to 10 years of applications development and support experience; complete understanding of design and project management of business software solutions; strong channel specific business and domain (functional/technical) knowledge; project software development life cycle experience; project management experience. Knowledge of the strategic business drivers and operational process requirements within the Retail industry. 
  • Proficient in Adobe Marketing Cloud platforms, particularly but not limited to: AEM, Target, Campaign, Analytics,
  • Intermediate proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, RUP, Agile)
  • Proficient in web development on Adobe AEM/CQ platform (AEM 6.x, Java, JSP, Sightly/HTL, Touch UI, JavaScript, XML, JSON, JQuery, common JavaScript frameworks);
  • Good understanding of AEM infrastructure including OSGi, JCR, sling, bundles;
  •  Intermediate proficiency in database development (i.e. MS SQL Server), and architecture and technical design of enterprise solutions (i.e. OOD/OOA, SOA, and web services); advanced knowledge of applications programming
  • Lead delivering advisory and implementation services of large analytics programs with a multi-disciplinary teams and be accountable for results.
  • Ability to travel within and outside North America up to 80% of the time

In addition, successful candidates will also have the following preferred skills and experience:

  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently, and manage components of large engagement.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills including a proven track record in developing and conducting interviews, focus groups and presentations. 
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Demonstrated experience of strong leadership in creating a learning environment
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with solid analytic skills and conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
