What will your typical day look like?

 

The AMS Incident Coordinator is responsible for facilitating Application Management Services (AMS) activities. Reporting to Service Delivery Managers (SDM), the Incident Coordinator will carry out the following activities:

 

  • Incident Management – coordinate incident resolution by triaging and assigning tickets to the appropriate support consultant. Report on open/aged tickets and tickets at risk of missing SLAs. Escalate to SDM as necessary.
  • Other support activities – participate in other support activities including release mgmt, change mgmt, escalation mgmt, process improvement initiatives, onboarding tasks, report creation, etc.

You're someone with:

  • A minimum of a College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • A minimum 2 (two) years of experience in an operations environment (client service experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Application Management and Operations principles such as ITIL (certification is an asset)
  • Hands on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Heat or similar ticketing tool
  • Knowledge of support processes including incident mgmt, problem mgmt, release mgmt, change mgmt, SLA mgmt, etc.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, detail oriented, high emphasis on quality control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
