What will your typical day look like?

DTTL People Data Management & Operations
  • Lead employee data collection, governance, approvals, and management processes across 85+ countries to support Global People programs and business transformation initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee employee lifecycle transactions within SAP SuccessFactors and other HR systems.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve data quality, integrity, completeness, and consistency across global HR platforms.
  • Partner with People COEs and Technology teams to enhance HR systems, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for HRIS enhancements, integrations, and system upgrades.
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, user guides, governance standards, and best practices.
  • Deliver stakeholder training on HR data management processes and governance requirements.
 
DTTL People Data Governance & Master Data Management
  • Lead the development and execution of Deloitte Global’s People Data Governance and Master Data Management strategy.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve data governance frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and operating models.
  • Establish and operationalize data stewardship, data ownership, accountability, and governance processes across Global People functions.
  • Define and maintain critical People master data domains, including Worker, Position, Job, Organization, Cost Center, Location, and Contingent Workforce data.
  • Drive standardization and harmonization of people data definitions, business rules, and governance processes globally.
  • Develop and manage data quality scorecards, KPIs, monitoring frameworks, and remediation processes.
  • Facilitate governance councils and stakeholder forums to prioritize data initiatives, resolve data issues, and establish enterprise standards.
  • Implement and maintain business glossaries, metadata repositories, data dictionaries, reference data standards, and data lineage documentation.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and technology teams to establish integration governance and data management best practices across the People technology ecosystem.
 
Leadership & Strategic Reporting
  • Provide executive-level reporting, insights, recommendations, and risk assessments related to People Data Governance and HR data quality initiatives.
  • Translate complex technical and data governance concepts into actionable business recommendations for leadership.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop roadmaps for future data governance, HR technology, and master data management capabilities.
 
This role is a hybrid of Technical, Data, and HR. You must possess the following:
  • Deep understanding of HR technology, HR processes, employee lifecycle management, workforce reporting, and analytics.
  • Expertise in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, and Data Lifecycle Management principles.
  • Strong understanding of data ownership, data stewardship, data lineage, business glossaries, reference data management, and governance operating models.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance policies, standards, controls, and frameworks.
  • Comfortable working with large and complex global datasets while identifying trends, gaps, anomalies, and opportunities.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Management, Data Management, Data Analytics, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in HR Data Management, Data Governance, Master Data Management, HR Technology, Workforce Analytics, or Human Capital Consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical and quantitative analysis into executive-ready business insights.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee and leadership information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility and influence globally in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, results-oriented culture.
 
Technical & Functional Expertise
  • HCM experience including SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or equivalent enterprise HR platforms.
  • Experience implementing and managing enterprise Data Governance and Master Data Management programs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Collibra, Alation, SAP MDG, or comparable data governance and metadata management platforms.
  • Experience developing data governance frameworks, stewardship models, data standards, and data quality programs.
  • Understanding of HR master data domains, reference data management, and data integration governance.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory considerations related to employee data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Visier, or equivalent technologies.
  • Ability to understand data flows, integrations, and enterprise architecture considerations in support of automated and scalable data management solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives involving People Data, Data Governance, or HR Technology.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
