What will your typical day look like?
There are no typical days! Working in Regulatory & Compliance Data & Technology Enablement offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment, which presents you with the opportunity to continually grow and learn from people with different backgrounds and working styles.
Based on the engagement, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design, build, and deliver data and technology solutions – Design scalable data architectures, implement modern data platforms and infrastructure, and develop risk data, analytics, AI, and technology solutions that address business challenges, enhance capabilities, and help clients meet regulatory and operational objectives.
- Drive end-to-end implementation – Lead the planning, design, build, testing, and deployment of risk data and technology capabilities, including data mapping, migration, and platform modernization initiatives, ensuring successful delivery from concept through execution.
- Turn data into insight and actions – Build dashboards, analytics, and data products that provide actionable insights, support decision-making, and enable effective risk management and business performance monitoring.
- Implement data and AI governance capabilities – Design and operationalize data and AI governance frameworks, controls, workflows, and monitoring processes that support responsible AI adoption, data quality, compliance, and risk management.
- Bridge business requirements and technology delivery – Translate business needs into technical requirements, support solution design and development, and help ensure successful implementation through testing, deployment, and adoption.
- Build innovative assets and accelerators – Contribute to the development of Deloitte methodologies, reusable solutions, accelerators, and AI-enabled tools that improve delivery quality, efficiency, and client value.
- Collaborate with clients to solve complex problems and build trusted relationships – Lead and participate in workshops, interviews, and working sessions to understand business challenges, co-create practical solutions, and strengthen long-term client relationships through impactful delivery and trusted partnerships.

About the team

The Data & Technology Enablement team is comprised of consultants, engineers, developers, and project managers dedicated to helping clients deliver large-scale technology transformations, AI governance programs, data management initiatives, and regulatory compliance solutions on time and within budget.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
In this role, the expected qualifications are:
- Working towards completing a post-secondary degree such as Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics and Statistics, and Science by September 2027;
- Experience with one or more programming or data analysis languages such as Python, SQL, or R, with an interest in applying these skills to data engineering, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions;
- Experience and/or familiarity with the following is an asset:
- Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies: Knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI governance, intelligent automation, agentic AI, and cloud-based AI services.
- AI-Assisted Software Development: Experience using AI-powered development tools and coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for code generation, refactoring, debugging, test creation, documentation, and accelerating software development workflows.
- AI Solutions and Knowledge Retrieval: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and other techniques used to build AI-powered applications grounded in enterprise data and knowledge sources.
- Data, Analytics, and Cloud Technologies: Experience with data visualization, analytics, cloud, and data platform technologies such as Power BI,Tableau, Azure, AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Can demonstrate strong technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project;
- An inclusive team player who is passionate and motivated;
- Self-starter and able to conceptualize creative approaches and solutions;
- Curious and comfortable with ambiguity;
- Excellent visual, written and oral communication skills, particularly articulating messages using Microsoft tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, etc.);
- The ability to thrive in a team and collaborative setting, contribute and share ideas, regularly seek guidance and feedback, and work to ensure the success of the team;
- A willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to professional and client service excellence; and,
- The ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality outputs with a high degree of task ownership.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
