Deloitte is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Workday Functional HCM Support architect to join our Human Capital - Operate team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday solution and a strong ability to provide exceptional support and consultancy services to our clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and client-facing experience to ensure the successful operation and optimization of Workday Systems.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead and architect end-to-end Workday implementations and post-production optimizations.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, transforming them into system design solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of Workday HCM Solution 
  • Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on Workday functionality across various modules, ensuring efficient configuration and integration.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and design scalable, long-term solutions for system enhancements.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants and client teams through best practices and Workday system knowledge.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Ensuring the ongoing successful post deployment of Workday solutions. 
  • Hands-on experience configuring complex client requirements in the solution.
  • Leading client discussions – requirements gathering, user stories/test scenario creation, solution configuration, lead/support testing and provide documentation on implemented solution.
  • Excellent understanding of the end-to-end Workday solutions
  • Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high quality deliverables within expected timeframes. Monitor progress, manage risk, and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Manages day-to-day support requirements of client’s Workday managed services engagements.
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting and consulting on Workday solutions, with a focus on system architecture and functional design.
  • Proficiency in Workday, including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, and other related modules. Strong understanding of system integrations and data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Relevant Workday certifications are highly desirable.
     

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $97,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
