What will your typical day look like?


As a Tax Manager some of the duties will include but not limited to: 
 

  • Planning and leading partner tax compliance and provide well-reasoned tax advice to partners;
  •  Acting as a primary point of contact for the Deloitte Partner tax program;
  •  Managing income and employment tax filings for Deloitte employees
  • Working in a stimulating and very high-energy environment with like-minded people who are eminent in their respective technical fields; 
  • Assisting in ad hoc tax projects

Partner Tax and Accounting is an important enabling area within our firm that is committed to the success of our partners and professionals. We provide tax and accounting support for the equity partners. The incumbent must be detail oriented, anticipatory, organized, and work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing confidential information. You will be working in a tight knit team to deliver an elevated experience for our partners.

You are someone who has:
 

  • Completed undergraduate degree. CPA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience in reviewing Canadian tax returns. US tax experience is an asset.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence; 
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
