About the team

Deloitte’s Boardroom Program is designed specifically for Canadian board directors with an objective of promoting conversation among the key leaders of the Canadian business community. The Podium Club is a key asset, and is an elevated experience featuring a comprehensive calendar of tailored programming and a bespoke business lounge in downtown Toronto.  The Operations and Experience Specialist will provide operational and administrative support for all aspects of The Podium Club and other focused areas.  

What will your typical day look like?

•    Oversight of regular operations of the Podium Club; build strong relationships with the Podium Club concierge, onsite service provider and other internal departments to ensure delivery of a differentiated member experience
•    Provide end-to-end event support for virtual, hybrid and in-person events, including registration, planning, logistics coordination and event production
•    Oversight and execution of all Podium Club member communications 
•    Provide (strong/proactive) administrative support, including member communications and regular leadership and independence reporting
•    Act as the key technology resource, understanding the requirements and liaising with IT to provide an elevated onsite and hybrid experience
•    Support of Lead in other related areas and programs as required

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

•    A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in an administrative, hospitality, event or customer service role; experience with high profile audience considered assets
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills; proven track record of dealing with multiple priorities in a high pressure, client focused environment
•    Executive presence and a demonstrated ability to work with all levels within an organization
•    High attention to detail and task orientation with an aptitude for problem solving
•    Ability to proactively recommend solutions to ensure operational efficiency 
•    Self-motivated, with demonstrated proficiency at effectively working both individually and as part of a team
•    Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook; facility to learn and work in various systems, and prior experience with event platforms and applications; such as Cvent, SpotMe, Zoom, etc
