You’re an enthusiastic, detail-oriented communicator with creative ideas and the ability to execute on them across internal channels. You have experience with (or interest in learning about) generative AI tools that can enhance your work. You’re passionate about telling stories that resonate with internal audiences, and are ready to learn, grow, and thrive in an inclusive, flexible, and collaborative environment. 

What will your typical day look like?


Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position 

In this role as Senior Specialist, Executive Communications, you will support CEO and Operating Officer communications for Deloitte Canada. Working closely alongside the Managers of these portfolios, you will assist in the development of communications that support key initiatives, projects, strategies, and events that align to Deloitte’s goals and objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in writing and editing effective and inspiring messages, and managing delivery within our internal communications channels.


This includes:
 

  • Supporting the creation of high-impact internal communications plans across channels and audiences.
  • Developing impactful content—including intranet articles, emails, internal social media, newsletters, presentations, speeches, and video scripts—designed around storytelling principles to drive meaningful engagement.
  • Steering communications through the full cycle of research, writing, editing, approvals, translation, and distribution.
  • Supporting the delivery of key events that are virtual, hybrid, or in-person.
  • Leveraging firm-approved generative AI tools to generate ideas and create content.

We want to work with enthusiastic, creative, and committed individuals who are passionate about internal storytelling. Core competencies and attributes to be successful in this role include:
 

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of communications experience (understanding of large corporate settings or professional services organizations is an asset)
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills 
  • The ability to gather relevant information and transform it into clear, concise, and engaging content
  • A meticulous eye for detail, excellent time management and organizational skills, and strong judgment 

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
