What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Manager, Finance PMO you will be responsible for the following duties: 

•    Deliver effective solutions which meet the requirements of Deloitte business groups and that are aligned with Finance Strategic priorities  
•    Be a hands-on Project Manager with expectations to gather requirements and lead Finance and technical teams
•    Direct resources both internal, onshore and offshore and ensure the implementation and utilization of consistent processes across the firm
•    Create project charter and report project status to business and Finance stakeholders
•    Track scope, effort and managing project change requests
•    Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis.
•    Expertise in creating clear and detailed Business Requirements, Use Cases and Functional Specification documents
•    Ability to work in fast paced Agile and multiple stakeholders environment
•    Manage projects risks/issues/ dependencies and come up with appropriate mitigation plan working with Finance and business teams
•    Manage relationship with business product/project sponsors, be the trusted advisor
•    Own and manage project budget, cost, and schedule.
•    Raise and track risks and issues, resolve conflicts and escalate appropriately when needed.
•    Ensure on-time delivery & quality of agreed upon scope
•    Manages project communications including status reports to all stakeholders
•    Work closely with various team (including both business and technical staff), internal and external stakeholders to understand, gather information and synthesize findings into business/functional requirements and design documents

About the team

The Finance team requires an experienced hands-on project manager to lead and manage various strategic projects .  In this role, you will plan, coordinate and participate in all aspects of the process management lifecycle to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within approved schedule, scope, and budget in the implementation and ongoing management of products.

You are someone who has: 

•    A University degree or equivalent work experience
•    Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
•    Demonstrated knowledge of Agile project development methodology
•    5+ years' experience in Project Management and Business Analysis
•    Finance background and experience required. 
•    Proven ability of delivering applications involving multiple stakeholders
•    Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders and lead others in teams
•    Superior verbal and written communications skills including oral presentation and building business case. 
•    Experience in offshore development processes and best practices.
•    Ability to coach staff in analysis, design and project management and business analyses skills
•    Successful delivery utilizing offshore capabilities considered an asset
•    PMP, CBAP, and ITIL certification considered a strong asset
•    Understanding of client, financial, and document management concepts considered an asset
