What will your typical day look like?

 

You don’t just believe that work can be a fulfilling and welcoming place; you take action to make it that way. The Culture & Purpose team is seeking an experienced employee engagement professional who can lead two main areas: measuring ongoing sentiment via employee engagement surveys/listening efforts and managing employee engagement community networks. In this role, you’ll be uniquely positioned to assess the employee experience, guide desired changes that align with our Shared Values and intended business outcomes, and embed programs and solutions within the business. You’ll collaborate with teammates to bring well-being, societal impact, inclusion, development, and recognition programs to life through the communities you lead, ultimately strengthening our overall culture and employee experience together. 


You’ll work closely with DTTL | People Culture & Purpose Portfolio leader to:

  • Create and implement our annual continuous listening strategy; lead efforts to collect and analyze employee sentiment through pulse surveys, employee focus groups and other experience data; and provide meaningful insight to senior leaders that influences action.
  • Lead a robust suite of programs and volunteer internal champions focused on creating connection and belonging across various dimensions of the employee experience, including shared identities and experiences (business resource groups), role and team (business unit People Councils), local geography (Global Neighborhoods), and shared interests (Life@Deloitte Global).
  • Partner with Culture & Purpose teammates, People colleagues, and business leaders to ensure alignment and buy-in of culture and employee experience strategies and participation in key experiences and events; take the lead on embedding key strategies in the business through our champion network.
  • Continuously measure the success of our listening and community-building strategies, track efforts and outcomes, and monitor the marketplace for emerging best practices in an effort to continuously improve our offerings.
  • Lead a diverse and geographically dispersed team of professionals who track, analyze and report on employee experience and assist in managing our internal champion community; recommend and manage budget across programs.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:

  • 10+ years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, internal communications, or culture transformation, preferably in globally dispersed, matrixed environments
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) and relationship builder with ability to influence audiences of various levels including senior leadership
  • Emotionally intelligent, inclusive leader with excellent teaming and collaboration skills and prior experience leading a global team
  • Ability to manage to results in a fast-moving, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environment
  • A passion for and knowledge of employee experience and engagement, including experience running engagement surveys and communicating results
  • Experience managing a champion community such as business resource groups or employee engagement groups; experience influencing discretionary efforts across borders and businesses
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism
