What will your typical day look like?
This position is focused on strategic planning, financial modeling, and management reporting. This role reports to the IT Financial Management – Operations & Insights team and works with other members of the finance team (both in Deloitte Global Finance & within Deloitte Technology) for completion of deliverables. Successful candidates for this position will bring a strong analytical mindset, experience with financial reporting, planning and analysis, and the ability to present complex financial matters to executives in a clear and understandable style.
Specific responsibilities:
- Combine financial analysis with an understanding of the business in order to deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations to executives
- Move quickly to answer new questions utilizing consultative skills (independent thinking, creative problem-solving, clear communication)
- Design and execute detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Prepare impactful presentations and management reports for senior leaders (both monthly & ad hoc)
- Serve as a trusted business partner to Deloitte Global Finance leaders and leaders in Deloitte Technology, Deloitte’s global IT services organization
- Manage multiple urgent projects independently, exercising judgment consistent with overall team goals
About the team
Global Finance provides the most cutting-edge and insightful research and analysis of the financial health of the entire Deloitte organization around the world. We advise, guide, and monitor global initiatives in five major areas: tax, member-firm reporting, finance and accounting, strategic projects, and financial analysis.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or STEM)
- A minimum of 4 years related work experience in a top-tier professional services firm or in a strategic finance role with a major corporation
- Expert level Excel skills, including using pivot tables, conditional formatting, and advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMPRODUCT)
- Expert level PowerPoint skills, including storyboarding and creation of compelling data visualizations
- Outstanding research and data analytics skills, quantitative aptitude, and attention to detail
- Highly organized and self-directed working style which is focused on results
- Expert fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience presenting/communicating confidently to senior executive
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- MBA, CFA, Master of Finance or Master of Data Science / Data Analytics
- Master of Accountancy, CPA or Chartered Accountant helpful but not required
- Working knowledge of typical financial activities and processes
- Working knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI
- Some experience providing coaching to junior team members
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
