What will your typical day look like?



We are looking for an Operations Specialist to support the transformation and optimization of Deloitte Global ‘s People (HR) processes and services and enhance the employee experience through automation and self-serve initiatives.


Initially the People Operations Specialist will support the implementation of the new People Operating model. This role will focus primarily on process improvements, prioritizing automation through ServiceNow to improve our service offerings to employees of Deloitte Global and the various teams within our People (HR) Division. This role will also support the implementation of the employee self-service function by participating in system user experience design sessions, knowledge management framework and change management activities.


As the Operating model matures, this role will focus on supporting the overall operating function and own continuous improvement of People (HR) Operations with a focus on automation and offshore efficiencies. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with People (HR) teams to support the design, development and deployment of new HR processes and their continuous improvement
  • Partner with the technology team to enhance ServiceNow functionality, enhance user experience, and drive process automation
  • Collaborate with People (HR) teams to identify and track knowledge management needs to encourage employee self-service
  • Review metrics and feedback for in-scope operations to identify and implement improvement opportunities (including automation opportunities, improvements to SLAs, processes, knowledge content searches, employee experience feedback, etc.) with the Global Contact Centre and Offshore teams
  • Develop operational reporting and provide insights in our service delivery model and drive adoption across the wider People (HR) team

You are someone with: 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ directly applicable experience
  • Proven experience in HR Shared Services, HR Contact Centre, or HR Operations within a global environment
  • Thorough knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and best practices to support service delivery
  • Experience working with automation and workflow technology (for example: ServiceNow)
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills, with the ability to create insights and actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Solutions oriented with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness and continuous improvement
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to balance the big picture and have attention to detail
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft tools
