Our Solutions Delivery - Client Service Solutions team offers an investigative approach to modernizing IT functions.  We help our IT team enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the Solution Delivery function, process and internal controls.  Are you a leader that is passionate about making a difference?  Take a look at this exciting position.

What will your typical day look like?

As member of the TOM Operations team, you will be responsible for organizing activities and leading a variety of initiatives focusing on operational support/maintenance and providing support on project delivery, process enablement, and policy adherence. Job duties will include coordinating with internal technology teams on technology process and policy adherence for asset deployment, asset operations, reviewing project and SDLC information, and performing review and analysis on asset artifacts.

Duties will include:

  • Provide asset oversight with regards to Deloitte’s technology operating model (TOM) on all business-led asset development and projects.
  • Review and contribute to the planning and execution of projects, including advisory role, as needed
  • Participate and/or lead current state findings TOM/NTO workshops in order to understand and document key operational processes
  • Drive initiatives in the TOM operations team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence
  • Contribute to process improvement teams and provide oversight of of the solution’s compliance needs, spanning one or multiple teams
  • Execute the compliance process plan and be primary point of escalation for asset team impediments
  • Develop materials for, and participate in the delivery of, presentations to Senior leadership and firm personnel
  • Assist with creation of process improvement proposals and other department development activities
  • Contribute to IT eminence initiatives, including development of new service offerings and branding campaigns within the department
     

About the team

The TOM Operations team focuses on the betterment and sustainment of Software Development and Service Delivery to our internal Service Lines who serve Deloitte clients, we are an integral part of Deloitte Canada’s Information Technology team.  We adhere to both regulatory and management standards, including ISO and SOC2, by applying quality controls and operational expertise to the software delivery function.

You are someone with:

 

  • Experience working in a senior consultant role for an IT organization and/or consulting & advisory services to IT Organization with 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Pursing or completed a PM/BA designation and with relevant work experience
  • Experience in SAFe  (Scaled Agile Framework) Implementations as a very strong asset
  • Experience in business analysis and process development as an asset
  • Strong technical skills & experience with the Microsoft suite of products
  • Expertise in Software Product Management disciplines such building roadmaps, systems operations, and regular maintenance cycle management
  • Ability to translate operational challenges into tactical improvement opportunities and develop requirements from a strategic perspective
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
