Are you looking for an opportunity to work with the Service Operations’ Technology team within Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T)? Read more below!
What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant on our Service Operations Technology team, you will collaborate with teams across the SR&T business to deliver technology expertise that transforms the way we work and deliver value to clients.
In this role, you will perform:
- Asset Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of all internal and 3rd party technology assets within the SR&T business, conduct regular audits to verify asset status.
- Technology Budget Management: Assist with the technology budget, including forecasting, planning and tracking costs related to technology assets, subscriptions and licenses. Monitor spending against the budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Software Renewals: Manage the renewals process for all software licenses and subscriptions. Monitor expiration dates and proactively initiate renewal process to avoid service interruption.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between the business units and technology vendors. Collaborate with vendors to optimize service levels and assist with vendor related projects.
- Data Analytics/Reporting: Technology related analytics to assist with trends, user adoption, optimization, cost savings. Assist with Power BI dashboards/reports.
- Technology Research: Assist with research and expertise on innovative technology, products, up and coming companies to facilitate deployment of project deliverables.
- Technology Support: Act as a communication bridge between business users and IT professionals, explaining technical details to non-technical staff and ensuring that the IT team understands the business context.
- Project Management: Project management tasks such as planning, resource allocation, resource mobilization, monitoring and reporting on project progress.
- Collaboration: Support the ongoing need of collaboration improvement using Microsoft Teams and assist with document management, sharing and reporting.
- Documentation and Writing Specifications: Produce detailed documentation of business requirements, which may include creating user stories, use cases, process flows, data models, wireframes and functional specifications. Write detailed functional specifications for the development team, including creating models, diagrams, and pseudocode.
- Designing, Assessing and Validating Solutions: Based on the requirements, design or recommend solutions, which involves assessing and performing gap analysis on the existing IT infrastructure and business processes. Help assess proposed solutions including functional prototyping with feedback to ensure they align with business needs and validate the result against the requirements. May participate in the design of a system from a business perspective and oversee the implementation to ensure business needs are met.
- Change Management: Play a key role in managing changes to business processes, systems, and structures, ensuring that changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.
- Continuous Improvement: Post-implementation, be involved in assessing the impact of the new systems or processes and identifying any areas for improvement.
About the team
The SR&T Service Operations Technology team is a team of dedicated resources focused on technology enablement and operations, providing oversight and expertise on technology driven projects and assisting with the development of technology and data assets. Through technology onboarding, tech asset enablement, opportunity support, risk and compliance management, and technology vendors management, we partner with and help SR&T teams better leverage and enhance existing capabilities, implement new capabilities, optimize processes, improve efficiency, and apply technology to in-market opportunities.

You are someone with:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading process analysis and redesign efforts utilizing lean methodology.
- Post-secondary degree in computer science, math, business, or another relevant program.
- Effective communication skills and ability to clearly articulate business issues, supporting facts, and rationale/business value for recommended solutions.
- Highly motivated individual with willingness to take initiative and propose pragmatic solutions to complex challenges and issues.
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills including a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests.
- Strong experience in project management and excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work.
- Results-oriented, confident self-starter, relationship builder with the ability to influence and drive consensus among key stakeholders.
- Growth mindset, curiosity, and drive, ability to take initiative, self-direct and function independently and work well in a culturally diverse, team-oriented environment with strong collaboration skills.
- A passion for learning and experience in managing the ambiguity of working in and defining unknown spaces.

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
