What will your typical day look like?

 

Our Global Sustainability Strategy and Commercial Senior Consultant will work directly with leadership and team members supporting Sustainability and Climate (S&C) and Firm leadership on strategic projects to define and support our firm’s strategic agenda. This role will collaborate with S&C leaders on refining and working to implement our strategy across Deloitte’s global businesses.

Additionally, our Global Sustainability Strategy and Commercial Senior Consultant will work closely to define success metrics, establish tracking processes, develop and manage KPIs. This role will also develop and maintain strong relationships with US/global counterparts. Our Global Sustainability Strategy and Commercial Senior Consultant, will own, plan, and manage assigned projects, which will include collaboration and coordination with a variety of stakeholders across global businesses, industries/sectors and member firms.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Own, plan, and manage assigned projects, which will include collaboration and coordination with a variety of stakeholders across global businesses, industries/sectors and member firms
  • Support the team to navigate cross-border/business/industry processes and connection with appropriate subject matter experts (i.e., Technology, Finance, Talent, etc.) to support roll-out of strategic initiatives globally
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations; use advanced storyboarding and excel skills
  • Demonstrate and apply strong knowledge of strategy and management frameworks
  • Develop compelling power point presentations for use with the most senior leaders of the global organization; opportunity to present to internal leadership team
  • Support team in decision-making and progressing projects through ambiguity

The Global Sustainability & Climate team is at the core of the Firm's strategy, working with industries and businesses globally to orchestrate and accelerate commercialization of our sustainability & climate services.

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business , within a matrixed multinational or global organization prerferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (i.e Business, and Environmental Sustainability a plus)
  • Excellent project management, communications, writing, and editing
  • Experience with professional services or with technology provider industries 
  • Knowledge about Sustainability & Climate a plus
