This is a fixed-term 12 month role with Deloitte Global (DTTL) ideal for individuals who would like to gain global experience. Due to the global nature of this role, relocation is not required, nor supported. 


What will your typical day look like?


In this role you would be part of Deloitte Global’s Organizational Design & Transformation team (OD&T), working closely with various People Teams, Businesses and Enabling Areas to provide strategic direction and support with project management and delivery to advance core business transformation initiatives. The primary transformation initiative this role will support is for our finance group, a $50M global organization looking to reimagine its organization in order to meet current and emerging business demands. Post this engagement, this role would support other projects in a similar capacity.


As an OD&T Consultant on this project you will:

  • Apply an understanding of organizational and workforce transformation methodologies to support the development and delivery of cutting-edge strategies (i.e., operating model design, workforce strategy, detailed design, org design analytics, change management, etc.)
  • Engage in direct client engagement with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, highly matrixed, global organization to drive decision making and collect inputs for critical work products
  • Own data validation, analysis, management, and visualization leveraging people data from our various source systems and using Excel, Tableau and external organizational design platform vendors like Orgvue
  • Ensure timely progress against the project plan and completion of program actions by preparing project tasks, tracking status day-to-day operations and activities of specific projects, and providing general client engagement for respective OD&T activities
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or other relevant field
  • Minimum two (2) years of consulting experience (ideal candidate will have experience in research of workforce trends, business process improvement, people data analytics, organization transformation or design, and/or project management support) 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading or contributing to project delivery that created meaningful impact to the client, including the ability to prepare executive ready materials using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and operate effectively in an ambiguous or rapidly changing environment
  • Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks by importance and urgency
  • Strong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence


  • Experience working in the finance industry or with finance functions/organizations
  • Experience communicating to audiences at various levels (e.g., staff through leadership)
  • Experience navigating a matrixed, and mostly virtual environment for effective outcomes
