What will your typical day look like?

 

Performance & Delivery Excellence (PDE) partners with Member Firms and Global Consulting to win and deliver successfully in the market, drive differentiation and enhance the Deloitte brand. We do this by innovating our global standards, enabling our global delivery approaches and tools, identifying meaningful insights to manage risk and improve quality, and building Member Firm capabilities.

 

The Global Methods & Tools team is part of the Performance & Delivery Excellence organization. We work jointly with the Global Transformation team, Global Offering teams, and Delivery Excellence network to develop and institutionalize delivery capabilities across our offerings.

 

  • Lead components of work to define target operating models, activation, enablement framework and corresponding considerations for member firms and senior stakeholders
  • Utilize gathered information to determine responsibilities across senior stakeholders, confirm alignment and gauge readiness for new delivery approaches, tools and accelerators.
  • Package and deliver new Methods & Tools deployment “toolkit” and identify member firms to engage with to evolve their operating model as well as their activation and enablement approach
  • Use strong communication and facilitation skills to confirm alignment across global teams to rollout new programs that continue to simplify our way of working
  • Help establish a sustainable governance model across global teams and member firm teams in support of a connected and seamless enablement network that the practice as well as pursuit and engagement teams can rely on
  • Track adoption, build communities, and gather feedback to continue evolving the deployment network
  • Interact effectively with the global portfolio and the offering leaders, to support them in their global efforts to roll out new methods and tools into the applicable geographies.
  • Support the senior manager to develop and maintain close relationships with the global portfolio and the offering leaders
  • Provide tactical-operational advice and support to global portfolio and offering leaders for strategy development and execution for each geography.
  • Coordinate with the global methods and tools coaching team the activities included in the strategy, to enable the MF´s local teams and/or the practices in the new methods and tools.
  • Support the creation and execution of communication plans related to the new methods and tools to be rolled out
  • Support the creation of the status reports that will include the key metrics of the regional and MF strategy
  • deployment status, milestones, showstoppers etc. that will be presented key stakeholders at the global/regional and MF level.
  • Actively share best practices collected during the strategy and roll out activities with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the new methods and/or tools to be rolled out, in order to have meaningful conversations with all involved parties of key aspects to be considered in the global or regional roll out process.
  • Demonstrate solid strategy development and execution experience coupled with project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly co-ordinate, lead or participate in different projects.
  • Focus on gathering continuous feedback for improving the new method or tool strategic planning and deployment processes.
  • Support the strategic planning and deployment of the global M&T priorities both regional and across regions.

You are someone with:

 

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience working in a matrixed multi-national or global organization, Masters' degree a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in roles that require strong strategic planning, program or portfolio management, and consultingExperience with strategic planning, managing programs/portfolios and related frameworks, methodologies and processes
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and strategic thinking with the ability to report to executive audiences and present a holistic business driven vision of the related projects and programs
  • Strong communication skills working with virtual teams, key stakeholder and senior leadership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of defining, planning and executing high-impact initiatives
  • Experience in team leadership activities including recruiting, performance management, and coaching
  • Self-motivated, innovative, action-oriented team player with ability to manage upwards as well as lead and coach team members.
