What will your typical day look like?

The Learning Coordinator is responsible for project managing a portfolio of Audit technical learning events from a national and regional scope. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of planning and execution of in-person and virtual learning events. Full administration of learning programs including participant management and event planning.  Additionally, you will work with the Manager of Learning Operations to ensure alignment and execution of learning strategies to meet the audit practices objectives and to support special projects.   

Key activities associated with managing the learning portfolio would be:

•    Use established procedures to execute program logistics, registrations, communications, delivery, materials, on-site coordination, follow-up and budget tracking.
•    Manage client, stakeholder, and extended team member relationships and expectations, providing regular status updates and timely responses to inquiries/requests.
•    Manage firm timelines and project plans in support of programs.
•    Manage all logistical aspects related to event planning, such as venue sourcing and selection; vendor contracting and management; registrations and reporting, F&B experience, audio visual, space set-ups, etc.
•    Maintain and track a national database of Audit Learning professionals – including new hires, transfers, deactivations, learning completions etc. 
•    Manage communications; oversee the learning mailbox; responding to general learning questions, change requests and escalating as required.
•    Anticipate challenges and problem solve in a timely and efficient manner. 
 

About the team

As part of Deloitte’s Learning team, you will report directly to the Audit & Assurance Lead, and work collaboratively with a team of learning coordinators that are based across Canada.

• Previous Event Management, Project Management or learning experience would be an asset
• Ability to multitask, managing priorities and concurrent events, meeting strict deadlines in a busy and ever-changing environment
• Experienced working with professionals of all levels in a fast-paced environment
• Post-secondary degree/diploma 
• Exceptional organization, time management and strong attention to detail
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Excellent people and communication (verbal and written) skills, with a proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work overtime, be on-site for event execution and travel as needed

The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
