What will your typical day look like?

 

Do you like copywriting that makes the complex simple and interesting? Do you want to gain global experience working for a world-class organization with an inclusive and collaborative culture? Are you ready to take your skills to the next level working with a team of internal communicators to promote executive insights and experiences?

 

We are looking for a communications and marketing professional to join our team of internal communicators supporting global thought leadership. You’ll work across Deloitte’s wide range of internal communications channels, businesses, and geographies. As a member of the global Maestro Program’s Internal Marketing and Communications team, you’ll help develop and execute tactics to promote thought leadership around Signature Issues – topics such as resilient leadership, trust, climate, digital transformation and work – among Deloitte’s broad internal audience in support of relationship-building across the C-Suite and Board.

 

Your work will raise awareness across a matrixed organization for insights that address essential topics for global executives and board members as they deal with disruption on many fronts. This includes managing various communications plans and utilizing a vast network of global internal channels to promote and better orchestrate our global eminence efforts.

 

Reporting to the program’s Brand and Marketing Director, you’ll focus on project management and writing, copy editing, message development and PowerPoint slide creation to bring new concepts to life internally among Deloitte professionals.

 

You’ll:

  • Craft clear and effective messages to break through the clutter, including newsletter articles, intranet copy and slides
  • Produce and ensure consistent positioning and messaging across the organization Evaluate results to assess success and inform campaign development
  • Collaborate with other communicators and marketers around the world Develop and execute communications plans
  • Support special projects
     

About the team

 

Maestro looks to elevate our executive programs to drive more impactful Board and C-Level relationships, while enhancing the Deloitte brand position.  As part of this aspiration we deliver a number of key programs to anticipate, understand, and serve CEO, Board and CxO agendas.
 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Business or related area
  • 2+ years of relevant corporate communications experience
  • Internal communications experience in a professional services environment writing a variety of different types of content, including but not limited to messaging, internal communications, promotional materials, is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills – with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities/issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and/or professional services a plus 
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity 
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
