What will your typical day look like?


This is a unique opportunity to manage the strategy and operational success of all promotion programs across Deloitte Global. This includes strategy development, project management, and execution of new and existing initiatives. 

This role will report to our Promotions leader and work closely with the broader Leadership and Career Development team. This is a highly collaborative and high-visibility role and an exciting opportunity to be involved in impactful work for a rapidly growing organization.

Role specific responsibilities

  • Manage the strategy and implementation of promotion processes that evaluate candidates for advancement across Deloitte Global
  • Lead due diligence for Director and Managing Director candidates in collaboration with executives and senior business leaders  
  • Influence senior leaders across the Deloitte network to ensure equitable promotion assessment
  • Develop communications, educational materials, FAQs, and presentations for awareness of the promotion processes across Global professionals and leaders 
  • Collaborate with analytics & reporting team to provide enhanced insights to the business to equip them in making informed promotion decisions
  • Develop and monitor project plans, track and follow up on risks, accurately report progress against milestones to keep projects/initiatives on schedule

You are someone with:


  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, human capital, performance management, leadership development, or related field
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented project manager who can design and take initiatives from abstract to concrete; able to manage competing, high priority demands and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines
  • Superior interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills; experience communicating with an executive-level audience and able to establish credibility/rapport with senior stakeholders in a virtual environment 
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to synthesize information, approach problems analytically, learn quickly, and exercise judgment 


  • Experience in client-facing roles delivering complex, high-profile projects; strong consultative skills and client service orientation
  • Experience working for a large, global, matrixed organization in a mostly virtual environment
