What will your typical day look like?

 

We are seeking a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Recruiter to join our special programs team to help drive our strategy across the organization. This is a high-profile role given the company’s ongoing transformation and desire for recruitment from new, diverse talent sources at the university level and beyond.

In this role, the DEI Recruiter will focus in the areas of candidate talent search and engagement, as well as talent acquisition process improvement and strategy development. A candidate must be able to successfully manage talent searches on a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics. The successful individual
thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Candidate generation: sourcing for passive candidates utilizing both internal and external tools and systems
  • Candidate engagement: reach outs, speaking with candidates, acting point-of-contact throughout a candidates interview process
  • Assist with DEI projects and team education - Executes comprehensive recruitment strategies including outreach, trainings and tracking in collaboration with the team members and stakeholders
  • Provide feedback, insights, trends to recruiting leaders and hiring managers

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience participating/leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives
  • Strong understanding of campus recruiting and full cycle recruitment (from sourcing to offer)
  • Strong data analytic skills and understanding of recruiting metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ROI mindset, to track the impact of initiatives and adjust based on data
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to quickly acquire an understanding of relevant firm businesses, recruiting policies, procedures, and systems
  • Proficient skills in various technologies (i.e, Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems)
