What will your typical day look like?

 

The key performance objective of this position is the ability to simultaneously manage and coordinate a number of complex digital initiatives within stringent timelines. These initiatives support the overall key strategies and objectives of the Global Technology organization. The primary function of this role is to drive business value for
Deloitte and our clients through distinctive, innovative digital technology platforms, serve as a trusted strategic technical innovation advisor for internal web portals and applications, manage the engaging content development using digital technologies, including web, media (video & podcast), and mobile.

 

Core Responsibilities


As part of Digital 360 team, you will work closely with project team, management, stakeholders in the Deloitte Technology organization and will be responsible for:

  • Innovate the digital portal experience
    • Collaborate with the development team and architects on deployments and maintenance; perform technical unit and user acceptance testing.
    • Configuring the company modern SharePoint/equivalent systems to specified requirements.
    • Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based/equivalent solutions. This would include standard out-of-the-box and custom features, workflows, forms, setting up security and any innovation that can be done on the portal. Integrate custom portal technologies to enhance portal content
    • Capable of regularly learning new technologies, as the market demands, while managing the workload of consistent high-profile project deliverables.
    • Keep up to date with emerging digital media behavior, trends, and technologies; provide guidance for new tools and technologies as they emerge.
    • Analyze portal metrics to identify top digital content and enhancement opportunities
  • Digital portal content development
    • Partner with web content manager to identify stakeholder business needs and propose and provide the most appropriate technical solutions.
    • Provide and implement creative and innovative ideas on portal to ensure all media and content is engaging, appropriate to the audience, and meets the business objectives.
    • Collaborate on creation of innovative design concepts and imagery
    • Review, reinvent, and refresh content as needed for a consistently dynamic portal experience
  • Provide regular updates to leadership, demonstrate strong time management and project management skills, and manage key events and initiatives.

You are someone with:

 

  • Degree in Information Technology, Web Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 10-12 years relevant experience with core Microsoft office packages, Microsoft SharePoint Modern or relevant technology.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, JQUERY, CSS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Omniture Site Catalyst or equivalent, and CMS platforms (e.g. SharePoint 2010/2013).
  • Superlative project management skills, organizational skills, and ability to document business requirements
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leaders regarding the strategic impact and value of digital content.
  • Mature, flexible, innovative – thinks outside the box
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and is a strong independent thinker.
