What will your typical day look like?

As an Intern in Strategy, Risk & Transactions, Innovation Centre of Excellence, you could be involved in any aspect of the software development lifecycle which might include business or system analysis, testing, project coordination, as well as research and documenting for delivery initiatives. The Strategy, Risk & Transactions Innovation COE is the central authority for delivering service management solutions for various offerings including Strategy & Business Design, Nation Building, Economics, Sustainability & Climate, Infrastructure & Real Estate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Regulatory & Financial Risk and Forensic & Financial Crime. Generative AI has been a key enabler of recent and upcoming initiatives.

Our Strategy, Risk & Transactions, Innovation Centre of Excellence team aims to catalyze the next generation of business and bring exponential value to our clients and internal teams through innovation & technology in prioritized areas of growth. We place a dedicated focus on driving the discovery of new and transformational value-generating business opportunities, designing new solutions and developing tools/processes to enable our teams to deliver solutions to clients in repeatable ways.

You are someone who is/has:

 

 We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated exceptional performance in these and other majors:

  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Math

 

To qualify for our IT Co-op, Strategy, Risk & Transactions Innovation COE, you should possess the following:
•    Minimum 75% overall average
•    Proficiency in programming languages and scripting, i.e. Python, Java, SQL
•    Proficiency in system integrations
•    Analytical thinking: Ability to analyze data to draw insights
•    Experience of using data analysis tools
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
•    Innovative thinker with a strong appetite for cutting edge innovation and supporting technologies.
•    Sharp analytical mind
•    Strong academic performance and extracurricular activities
•    Business requirement gathering and analysis
•    Understand project management principles and ability to assist with project coordination
•    Systems analysis and preparation of specifications
•    Quality Assurance and software testing methods
•    Demonstrated leadership abilities
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Superior work-term performance
•    Team player, motivated, perceptive, adaptable, action-oriented, leadership capabilities
•    To be eligible for this role, you must be graduating in December 2025 or later

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $47,000.00 - $61,000.00, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
