What will your typical day look like?
This is a unique opportunity to support the success of Global in-scope Staff through Director level performance management and promotion programs across Deloitte Global. You will contribute to the planning, development, delivery, and execution of both new and existing initiatives in these areas. Reporting to the Global Performance Experience Leader, you will collaborate closely with our Center of Excellence, People Advisory, business groups, and member firm teams to ensure a seamless performance lifecycle. This consultative, detail-oriented role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a rapidly growing organization.
Role specific responsibilities
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for all aspects of the performance management and promotions lifecycle, including technology, reporting, communications, learning, and stakeholder support.
- Design and implement change management strategies, stakeholder maps, and communication plans to support initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide accurate reporting to keep initiatives on track.
- Prepare executive reports and secure necessary approvals.
- Lead data reconciliation and analysis efforts, partnering with technology and reporting teams to ensure system readiness and data accuracy.
- Develop educational materials, FAQs, and presentations to increase awareness of performance and promotion processes among Global professionals and leaders.
- Maintain and update reference materials, ensuring all documented processes are controlled, current, and accessible, including managing relevant intranet and SharePoint sites.
- Support broader Leadership and Career Development team priorities and special projects, such as business unit transformations and inclusion initiatives related to performance and promotions.
Promotions
- Develop and execute communication plans to support People Advisory and candidates, including preparing templates, talking points, and timelines, and posting updates on the DTTL intranet.
- Collaborate with the Org Design team to connect business cases with role evaluation processes, supporting advisory teams through year-end procedures in line with talent policies.
- Coordinate with local member firm contacts on requirements for non-hub Staff through Director promotion nominations, including confirming leveling, securing approvals, and aligning communications.
- Facilitate compliance reviews for promotion nominations, including immigration, employee relations, and independence checks. Work with the People & Operations team to deliver promotion agreements to successful nominees.
Performance management
- Advise People Advisors on performance management technology and processes, supporting both user experience and operational efficiency.
- Lead year-end planning of Global in-scope Staff to Director population, managing timelines, gathering promotion nominations, and preparing meeting materials.
- Support the delivery and implementation of global performance management initiatives, including designing change management and engagement strategies.
- Coordinate and facilitate materials and processes for talent reviews, performance assessments, and low performance management.
- Participate in current state assessments, develop recommendations, and contribute to the design and implementation of new initiatives and enhancements.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in HR, human capital, performance management, leadership development, consulting, or HR business partner roles within large, global, matrixed organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in change management and communications, preferably on global initiatives
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in preparing executive-level materials using PowerPoint and Excel
- Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to tailor messages to diverse audiences
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
