What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Manager in our TPRM practice, your typical day will center around leveraging your leadership acumen to oversee complex projects and drive strategic initiatives that advance our clients' risk management capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our practice's approach to third party risk, integrating innovation and industry best practices to deliver exceptional value and achieve sustainable outcomes.
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Taking the lead in defining and executing strategic initiatives within the TPRM practice, focusing on enhancing client resilience and compliance through innovative risk management solutions.
- Playing a pivotal role in driving growth for the TPRM practice through business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, contributing to go-to-market strategies, and supporting proposal development. You will also help lead the team, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients, third parties, and senior management, both in securing new business and delivering complex projects.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their strategic objectives and aligning our services to support their risk management goals effectively.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on complex TPRM challenges, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry trends.
- Overseeing the execution of multiple high-impact TPRM projects, including the design and implementation of processes, methodologies, operating models, regulatory compliance reviews, and other initiatives to achieve clients’ business objectives and enhance organizational resilience.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams within Deloitte to deliver integrated TPRM solutions that address holistic client needs and regulatory requirements.

- Lead the design and implementation of processes, methodologies, and operating models tailored to meet business objectives, as well as ever-evolving regulatory requirements in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).
- Join a dynamic team of industry-leading professionals in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) who are dedicated to addressing complex challenges at the intersection of technology, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts renowned for their insights and expertise, contributing to innovative solutions that shape the future of TPRM practices in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
- Lead and mentor a team engaged in pioneering initiatives that define industry standards and regulatory best practices, ensuring clients are equipped to navigate and excel in the ever-changing landscape of third-party risk.
- Drive thought leadership and eminence activities within the TPRM space, leveraging market intelligence and client interactions to influence industry perspectives and advance the firm’s reputation as a leader in risk management advisory services.
- Partner closely with executives and key stakeholders to develop and implement strategic frameworks, methodologies, and operational models that enhance organizational resilience and compliance readiness in TPRM.

You are someone with:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) or closely related fields such as vendor management, risk management, procurement or system implementation with a strong TPRM component.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing TPRM programs in a consulting/professional services firm or a major Canadian/US bank.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams of skilled professionals in a collaborative environment.
- Strong capability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
- Ability to delegate effectively to maximize team performance and development.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing significant TPRM initiatives or projects, ensuring delivery within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and/or holding certifications in leading TPRM technologies such as ServiceNow, Coupa, Ariba, Archer, Aravo, Ivalua, ProcessUnity, MetricStream, OneTrust, or Prevalent. Strong understanding of how these solutions, and the use of GenAI and automation, can drive efficiency and operational effectiveness in clients’ TPRM programs.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to TPRM, especially in jurisdictions where the organization operates (e.g., comprehensive knowledge with regulations from regulatory bodies like OCC, OSFI, GDPR).
- Commitment to staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in TPRM and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in procurement and procure-to-pay processes.
- Strong consulting/professional services background, with technology experience as an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $234,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
