We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Manager to lead the Reporting Transformation and Modernization function within our Data & Insights team.

 

While this role is hybrid, we expect team members to work from the office on a regular basis.

What will your typical day look like?

 

Reporting to the Head of Data & Insights (Chief Data & Analytics Officer equivalent), you will play a critical role in transforming and modernizing reporting across the organization. You will oversee a multidisciplinary report development team, including user experience designers and BI developers, to deliver high-quality, user-centric reporting solutions.

 

You will be responsible for developing and executing the reporting modernization strategy, managing the team’s project portfolio, and orchestrating planning processes. You will drive change management and communication activities to ensure successful adoption of new reporting tools and practices. In this role, you will also champion data visualization and reporting literacy programs, while advancing innovation, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships to maximize the value of data-driven decision-making across Deloitte.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

 

  •  Develop and implement a modernization roadmap for reporting and analytics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of user experience designers and BI developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand evolving needs, and ensure reporting solutions deliver actionable insights.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of reports and dashboards, promoting best practices in data visualization and user experience.
  • Identify and remove obstacles for the team, enabling efficient project delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities.

You are someone who is/has:
 
Required 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive relevant experience in planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis and insights
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities and attention to detail and accuracy in work output
  • Experience in reporting transformation, UX design, dashboard design and development, business intelligence solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering reporting transformation and modernization programs leveraging technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and associated experience, academic background and/or certifications such as CPA or CFA
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, financial statement analysis, statistical and quantitative analysis and/or machine learning
  • Demonstrated ability in extracting insights from data in support of strategic decision making
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

 

Nice-to-Have 
 

  • Proven ability to drive innovation, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships in data, analytics, or related domains.
  • Strong project management skills especially agile delivery and associated experience and/or certifications
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic roadmaps, managing complex project portfolios, and leading change management initiatives, and successfully engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging AI, GenAI or Agentic AI to drive reporting transformation or modernization

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
