Lead the delivery of Engagement Pricing and Forecasting systems and process initiatives as a trusted expert in a fast-paced, and high-impact environment.

What will your typical day look like?

 

As a product owner and team leader in BIS, your focus is the Pricing Tool Application (PT App) and Engagement Forecasting products, processes and integrations.  You regularly engage with stakeholders within the businesses and enabling areas, other BIS product leads and delivery teams to understand evolving needs, identify gaps, prioritize resolutions and action deployment to drive a cohesive, value driven Canadian opportunity to engagement (O2E) solution.  You lead a team to provide solution support, backlog management, and operational and project delivery through requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, testing and training activities.  You are regarded as a subject matter expert in PT App and Engagement Forecasting and across the O2E solution and you are often called upon to provide best practices and end-to-end process leadership. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Serve as the Product Owner and Team Lead for Salesforce PT App and Engagement Forecasting solutions managing activities to drive the advancement and sustainment of these products, processes and integrations within the Canadian O2E design
• Facilitate collaboration, partnership and alignment with BIS leaders, local and global O2E stakeholders and, cross-functional delivery teams to understand evolving business needs and risks, to set solution enhancement priorities and roadmaps and, to identify, assess and resolve process and product gaps
• Manage assessment, prioritization, and deployment of PT App and Engagement Forecasting requirements and enhancements, in alignment with established intake processes, and O2E objectives and budgets.  Responsibilities include:
o   Leading solution design, documentation, scoping, planning and delivery activities to enable execution as either operational items or project delivery 
o   Collaborating with DT-CA and other Canadian stakeholders to provide actionable direction on solution requirements, scope, delivery timing and dependencies to enable local development
o   Initiating and advocating for global change requests to direct global development
o   Evaluating planned global solution enhancements and release items to determine impact to the Canadian O2E solution and action accordingly
o   Coordinating operational deployment activities across global and local release schedules and teams
• Manage the daily operations of the BIS PT App and Engagement Forecasting team to provide effective solution support, backlog management and to execute operational and project delivery activities including issue resolution, requirement gathering, testing, process documentation and training    
• Lead PT App and Engagement Forecasting focused working groups with key business leaders and stakeholders to gather insight on system and process issues, align on business needs and drive solution adoption   
• Represent Canada’s interest on local and global committees and forums to influence global PT App and Engagement Forecasting solution strategies, investment decisions and delivery outcomes
• Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert for PT App and Engagement Forecasting solutions providing strategic guidance, best practices oversight, and end-to-end process leadership
• Contribute to the success of BIS as a member of the leadership team by proactively escalating issues and risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies, delivering project status updates, mentoring team members, aligning team capacity to delivery needs, and ensuring consistent, cohesive, and effective design and support across the O2E solution.

Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.

 

You bring the following must-have skills and experience:


•  Minimum 8 years of experience across enterprise transformation, implementations and operational support of cloud platforms (i.e. Salesforce, SAP etc.)
•  Deep functional and technical expertise in Deloitte’s O2E systems and products with advanced knowledge of the Pricing Tool Application and associated integrations
•  Proven experience across Canadian O2E teams and processes (Client and Opportunity Mgmt, Pricing, Contracting, WBS Opening, Engagement Financial Mgmt, etc.) 
•  Deep expertise in the firm’s client pricing models and constructs (e.g. Fixed fee, resource-based, milestone billing, alternative delivery models, contingent fees etc.) and in the firm’s engagement financial management practices and concepts (e.g. SWIFT revenue recognition, WIP management, engagement contribution, DSO, Managed Revenue etc.) 
•  Familiarity with the firm’s sales, risk and opportunity management practices and concepts
•  Skills and experience in business process integration and optimization  
•  Experience with product ownership and delivery within a SAFe environment
•  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a proven track record of building relationships and establishing trust with individuals at all levels 
•  Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams  
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
•  Familiarity with change management and adoption principles  
•  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
•  Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

 

It would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well:


•    Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) 
•    Bilingual in English and French

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
