Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes. This role involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support hosted applications. You will collaborate with internal teams and external customers to gather requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure successful delivery of cloud solutions.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure utilizing services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, App Engine, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). You will automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Terragrunt, adhering to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Your role will involve designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud Build.
You will implement and maintain best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance, ensuring robust and secure cloud environments. Additionally, you will develop and implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues. Leading incident response and resolution efforts, including participation in on-call rotations as needed, will be a key responsibility.
Collaboration with internal teams and external customers to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions is essential. You will document operational processes, procedures, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and compliance. Staying abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, you will provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

We are seeking a seasoned Consultant with extensive networking experience, particularly with Palo Alto NextGen firewalls, cloud networking concepts, and security operations.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:
- Experience with cloud network and security operations to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot cloud-native and non-cloud-native networking tools, including network firewalls, cloud-native Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Gateways, hybrid connectivity, and network segmentation, to protect cloud network infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot cloud-native and non-cloud-native security tooling including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, SIEM, Identity and Access
- Management (IAM).
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of security and network components using Terraform, adhering to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Use configured cloud-native and non-cloud-native monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure proactive monitoring of our landscape.
- Use available tools and techniques (such as Prisma Cloud, cloud-native advisory solutions) to evaluate the security posture of the cloud service and containers, and identify any gaps to drive remediations.
- Provide analysis and recommendations for continuously improving cloud network and security (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Analyze and optimize network performance, including latency, throughput, and reliability, to ensure efficient and effective cloud network operations (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Collaborate to develop and implement disaster recovery and redundancy strategies to ensure business continuity and data protection in the event of network failures or outages.
- Collaborate with internal architecture, infrastructure, and other teams in the development and implementation of scalable, secure and effective network and security architectures and keep current across all cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) that meet client business requirements and relevant industry standards such as ISO and NIST.
- Lead incident response and resolution efforts to ensure 24/7 availability of our cloud services.
- Manage and prioritize change requests, ensuring that changes are implemented efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud, networking and security technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
You will also:
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including architecture, infrastructure, and application teams to create and maintain detailed network design documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies, to support ongoing network management and troubleshooting.
- Document operational processes, procedures, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
