What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Senior Consultant in the Workforce Strategy and Intelligence (WSI) team, you will play a key role in leading workstreams and delivering workforce analytics solutions. On any given day, you might:
  

  • Help lead the design and execution of workforce analytics projects, including talent lifecycle, capability analytics, and strategic workforce planning
  • Build workforce data modelling, deriving insights, and telling stories with data
  • Apply curiosity and critical thinking to understand the data, uncover the root of workforce challenges, and design context-specific solutions
  • Bring creativity to problem-solving, developing innovative approaches to help clients address evolving workforce needs
  • Co-facilitate client workshops and meetings to explore challenges and co-create solutions
  • Lead the development of deliverables such as dashboards, reports, and strategic recommendations
  • Translate business needs into workforce analytics approaches, including capability modeling, talent lifecycle analysis, and strategic workforce planning
  • Guide junior team members through analysis, storytelling, and client engagement
  • Navigate a variety of tasks—from delivering client work, to drafting proposals, to supporting internal initiatives—requiring agility and adaptability
  • Use emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance how you analyze, communicate, and deliver impactful solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to evolve methodologies and tools
  • Contribute to internal initiatives such as thought leadership, practice development, and innovation

About the team

 

Workforce Strategy and Intelligence (WSI) is a practice within Human Capital Consulting at Deloitte focused on workforce advisory across Canada. We are interdisciplinary by design, blending strategists, data scientists, communications specialists and industry SMEs to give clients 360° workforce advice. 

As the Canadian talent landscape continues to evolve, and be disrupted by emerging technologies, a constrained economic landscape – and evolving talent needs – we help clients secure the skills they need to be able to deliver on their business and growth strategies, answering key questions like: 

 

  • What work should be done? How should work be designed?
  • What capabilities and skills do you need across the organization? 
  • How might you optimize and get the most value from talent programs? 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are a strategic thinker and emerging leader with a passion for workforce analytics. You bring:

 

  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, analytics, or HR strategy roles
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python) and experience applying them to workforce challenges
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, capability modeling, and future of work concepts
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience managing deliverables and mentoring junior team members
  • Drive to become an A-class consultant that uses data to provide the best advice to clients

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
