Role Specific Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Master/Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Scrum Facilitation: Guide and coach data and analytics teams in Scrum practices, facilitating all ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- SAFe Coordination: Support Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes, ensuring alignment of data and reporting projects with enterprise objectives.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee data and reporting project deliverables, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, business intelligence developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations, and communicate project status.
- Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder team progress, particularly those related to data quality, integration, or reporting challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team learning, process enhancements, and adoption of best practices in data management and reporting.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) and provide visibility into data project progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies, especially those impacting data integrity, security, or regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with other Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and teams to ensure consistent delivery and integration of data solutions across the organization.
- Agile Coaching: Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile, SAFe, and data project best practices.

We are responsible for managing and optimizing the enterprise data platform that supports a variety of reporting applications and projects across the business. In addition to ensuring data integrity and delivering scalable data solutions, our team is also responsible for the administration and enhancement of enterprise reporting tools used throughout the company. We partner closely with business units to deliver high-quality data solutions, ensure data integrity, and enable advanced analytics capabilities. Enough about us, let’s talk about you
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Project Manager, with a focus on data, analytics, or reporting projects.
- Hands-on experience working in a SAFe environment (SAFe certification preferred, e.g., SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA)).
- Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).
- Proven experience managing data management, data warehouse, business intelligence, or reporting projects using Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices.
- Familiarity with data management concepts, ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience working with data governance, data privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience leading Agile transformation or change management initiatives.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
