What will your typical day look like?
As a Marketing Associate, you’ll create impactful sales and marketing materials, coordinate logistics for high-profile industry events, and drive innovative campaigns to build ElectrifiedGrid’s brand. You’ll collaborate with Sales and Technical teams on strategic deals, analyze market and competitor trends, and deepen customer insights. You’ll also support internal engagement by developing content and forums, while tracking marketing’s impact on the sales pipeline— giving you broad exposure, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a visible impact within the ElectrifiedGrid team and across Deloitte.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content and Asset Development
- Create and update sales and marketing assets (e.g., case studies, client presentations) for key buyer personas and client challenges
- Support thought leadership and industry content production
- Event and Industry Support
- Coordinate logistics and marketing support for conferences and industry events, including pre-conference client outreach coordination
- Prepare speaker submissions, sponsorships, and pre- and post-event campaigns
- Program and Campaign Execution
- Help shape global marketing plan to build awareness and brand equity with utilities, planners, regulators, energy policymakers, and ecosystem partners
- Execute account-based and regional marketing programs aligned with sales priorities
- Partner with Sales and Technical Sales to support active deals
- Customer Understanding
- Analyze competitor products and help prepare updates to the commercialization and product teams
- Deeply understand ElectrifiedGrid's target personas by analyzing consumer behaviour and buying trends
- Internal Collaboration
- Support a Deloitte-wide understanding and excitement for ElectrifiedGrid and create content / forums to build awareness amongst Deloitte member firms
- Marketing Operations
- Track marketing contributions to pipeline and deal progression
About the team
ElectrifiedGrid is a SaaS electric infrastructure planning tool built by Deloitte and utility partners around the world that combines a digital twin of a power grid with geospatially detailed technology adoption and load forecast modelling to assess the impacts of emerging electro-technology loads on electricity infrastructure.
ElectrifiedGrid has been successfully implemented by utilities globally and is actively helping utilities, governments, and regulators understand geospatial demand changes, forecast new electro-technologies, conduct integrated system planning, and enhance rate case filings and investments.
The team reports to Wonder, Deloitte Canada’s internal venture studio, as well as Deloitte’s Belgian member firm.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with these required skills, experience & qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in marketing execution, content development, or growth operations, ideally within a large multi-national organization or agency environment
- Strong external written and visual communication skills, with hands-on experience producing:
- LinkedIn and digital content
- Presentation decks and product marketing materials
- Hands-on experience with design (Figma, Canva), CMS (Webflow, Squarespace), and/or CRM (Attio, Hubspot) tools
- Proven ability to execute and support industry conference participation, including content and material preparation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple executional workstreams in parallel
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
It would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well:
- Utilities or energy sector experience is a strong asset for this role
- Experience with video production is a strong asset for this role.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
