What will your typical day look like?
The Global Data Management team, part of Global Financial Services, drives continuous improvement of global master platforms and technology through business-led innovation.
This manager will have responsibility for 2 master data portfolios within the Global Data Management team: one being the onboarding of new data consumers and data sets, the other supporting data alignment within and Global data platforms.
For consumer onboardings, you will lead and coordinate intake and discovery sessions, educate new consumers about master data processes, data sets, governance and best practices, with a particular focus on migration of their existing client, vendor, and business entity data sets into the SWIFT (SAP S/4 HANA) and Global MDM (Informatica MDM) master data platforms. These consumers and stakeholders span multiple geographies and business roles/use cases at the global and local levels. You will ensure data is accurately migrated, validated, synchronized and properly utilized to support seamless information flow to downstream applications by working closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely data delivery and adherence to onboarding schedules.
For data alignment, you will support strategic initiatives involving data consistency, quality, and standards adherence between SWIFT, MDM, and other global applications; in conjunction with offshore team members supporting delivery.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake and discovery sessions with new master data consumers to ensure holistic understanding of their use cases, data needs, alignment with existing data consumers, existing data to be migrated and targeted timelines
- Educate new consumers on master data processes, data sets, governance and best practices
- Define and maintain the consumer onboarding roadmaps for both SWIFT clients/vendors and MDM business entities
- Lead and manage the end to end data onboarding/migration process for multiple entities across diverse regions
- Coordinate with stakeholders globally to ensure timely receipt and validation of migration data
- Collaborate with member firms to align around timelines, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of migrated data against existing system records
- Driving innovation, automation and process improvement across the onboarding landscape
- Identify automation and AI opportunities across processes, develop business cases, and prioritize initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data migration processes and methodologies
- Monitor migration progress by tracking outcomes and success matrices. Deliver regular status reports, highlighting issues and resolutions
- Define and execute data alignment and harmonization initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall GFS and GDM strategies
- Manage delivery of data alignment initiatives, including oversight and management of offshore team members
- Produce success/ROI stories for both consumer stakeholder teams and internal leadership

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Years of Experience: 5-10 years in a team lead role for data migration, data systems integration or data alignment/harmonization programs
- Strong expertise in data migration processes and methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve difficult MF master data-related problems
- Experience with Data Management, Search, CRM, HR and Generative AI software implementations
- Data quality remediation experience
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and Informatica MDM is preferred
- Proven ability to manage large scale, multi-entity migrations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing timelines
- Proficiency in SQL/Oracle is required
- Effective communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders globally
- Experience and comfort working virtually with global, cross-geography teams
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, with a focus on presenting at the executive-level
- Experience with at least 1of the following tools and technologies is preferred: Informatica on-prem (MDM, 360) Informatica cloud (IDMC), SAP HANA, SAP Data Services, or Java
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
