What will your typical day look like?
Are you passionate about driving strategic transformation in a global organization? As Manager, Location Strategy Optimization, you will lead the day-to-day management and governance of our Location Strategy Optimization function. You will ensure disciplined execution, cross-functional alignment, and high-quality engagement with senior stakeholders while championing ongoing improvements and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Act as the primary owner and representative for Location Strategy Optimization, engaging with executive stakeholders and representing the function in leadership forums.
- Execution & Cross-Functional Alignment: Refine operational processes, prioritize initiatives, and ensure seamless alignment with global optimization objectives. Drive cross-functional alignment by orchestrating efforts to deliver results and resolve challenges.
- Governance & Operating Rhythm: Manage the governance calendar, council readiness, decision logs, and closure of actions. Provide end-to-end support for location-focused councils, including agenda setting, executive briefings, meeting facilitation, and follow-up.
- Performance Management: Define and track KPIs, generate insight-driven reports, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions. Prepare leadership reports and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Oversee the Risk, Issues, and Opportunities log, from intake to resolution. Lead scenario planning and contingency management for location-related risks, including organizing tabletop exercises and codifying lessons learned.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage senior stakeholder relationships across geographies and functions, communicating complex topics clearly and credibly.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives to drive adoption of location strategy and hub development through playbooks, training, and communications. Guide and embed ongoing methodology enhancements.
- Innovation & Data-Driven Decision Making: Promote AI-enabled ways of working, automation, and data-driven decisions across the function.
- Talent Development: Coach and mentor team members, set standards for quality and stakeholder experience, and effectively allocate and prioritize workload.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- 7–10 years of experience in program/portfolio management, operations strategy, or HR within global, matrixed organizations, with a track record of leading multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Strategy, Operations, HR, Economics, Public Policy, Data/Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and leading governance frameworks, operating models, and process documentation.
- Strong executive engagement skills, including stakeholder mapping, influencing, and presenting to senior leaders.
- Quantitative and financial acumen, including cost/risk/talent analysis and dashboard interpretation.
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Copilot/GenAI) and data storytelling required, business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau) considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of risk, compliance, and structured triage/escalation processes.
- Experience leading through matrixed teams and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Flexibility to occasionally work across time zones as needed.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
