What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Senior Consultant or Manager within Deloitte's Banking & Capital Markets Consulting practice, you will support leading financial institutions in addressing complex business, product, and transformation challenges.

 

You will:

  • Deliver consulting engagements focused on product, profitability, and operating model transformation across Retail, Commercial, Corporate Banking, and Treasury businesses.
  • Analyze key banking performance metrics, including profitability, Net Interest Margin (NIM), and product-level P&Ls, to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders across Product, Finance, Operations, and Technology functions to define and implement solutions.
  • Support the design and execution of initiatives spanning product management, product operations, business partnering, and business transformation.
  • Contribute to project planning, tracking, risk management, and issue resolution to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Develop thought leadership, methodologies, and intellectual capital that strengthen Deloitte's Banking & Capital Markets practice.
  • At the Manager level, lead workstreams or projects, manage client relationships, coach junior practitioners, and support business development and proposal activities.

Our team works across a broad spectrum of banking businesses, including Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, and Treasury.

You are passionate about the banking industry and enjoy solving complex business problems. You bring a combination of industry knowledge, analytical capability, and delivery experience, including:

 

  • Experience in product management, product operations, transformation delivery, or business partnering roles within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services across Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of key banking performance measures, including profitability, Net Interest Margin (NIM), and product-level P&Ls.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Experience supporting or delivering projects and transformation initiatives, ideally within banking or consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches and project management tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • For Manager-level candidates, experience leading teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to business development activities is an asset.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
