Want to help shape how data is governed, protected, and trusted across the enterprise?
What will your typical day look like?
Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, English is required for this position.
As the Manager, Data Governance, you will support the execution of the enterprise Data Governance program, translating strategic direction into coordinated delivery within the Data Risk & Trust team and key business and technology partners.
You will:
- Translate Data Governance Program strategy into executable plans, roadmaps, and delivery priorities
- Coordinate intake, planning, and execution across multiple concurrent data governance program initiatives
- Facilitate data governance forums, working groups, and decision-making sessions
- Track progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes
- Partner with leadership to remove delivery friction and maintain momentum
- Drive adoption by embedding data governance by design principles, standards, and controls into business processes and technology workflows
- Support executive reporting and program metrics
This role will report to the Senior Manager, Data Governance within Data Risk and Trust.
About the team
This role is part of Deloitte's Data Risk and Trust team within the Regulatory, Quality, Risk & Reputation (RQRR) function. We are a diverse team of professionals specializing in AI governance, data governance, privacy and confidentiality, and information and records management. Together, we help ensure Deloitte's data is trusted, protected, discoverable, and ready to support innovation and informed decision-making.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with these required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Information Governance, Records Management, Compliance, or a related field
- PMP designation and/or strong background with program or project management
- Experience managing enterprise programs, initiatives, and/or data governance processes.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance principles, frameworks, and operating models. (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, NIST, ISO)
- Experience facilitating discussions and building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.
It would be great for you to have some of these nice-to-haves as well:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Information/ Data Management, Data & Analytics, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Library and Information Science, Technology Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications from recognized industry associations such as DCAM, DAMA, IAPP, ARMA, or AIIM.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, M365, Informatica, or other related platforms.
- Understanding the intersection of data, records, content, knowledge, privacy, and AI governance and management
- Experience supporting organizational change and adoption initiatives.
- Experience operating within federated governance operating models
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
