Summary

Deloitte is seeking a highly experienced Lead Behavox Integration Engineer for a 1-year fixed term employment opportunity supporting a National leading bank. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating advanced communications surveillance solutions leveraging Behavox and related technologies. You will drive the onboarding of communication channels, ensure robust data integration, and support compliance transformation initiatives within the capital markets sector for our client.

What will your typical day look like?

• Design and implement configurable systems to process order lifecycle events for trade surveillance, directly supporting compliance transformation initiatives.
• Build robust ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Databricks, or SSIS to efficiently extract, transform, and load data across multiple platforms.
• Ensure high-quality, reliable data integration to support analytics and reporting, leveraging both on-premises and cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and maintain scalable applications and data pipelines using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot and Apache Kafka.
• Integrate backend systems to optimize data processing, utilizing modern DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for robust deployment and system reliability.
• Design, develop, and deploy workflow components using preferred workflow platforms and industry standards.
• Apply advanced programming and scripting skills in Java for enterprise-grade development, and Python for automation, data processing, and analytics.
• Work with messaging and integration technologies such as MQ, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Perform data engineering tasks, including SQL querying and transformation, and work with distributed file systems like HDFS.
• Leverage modern data platforms such as Dremio, Data Mesh, and Snowflake for data virtualization and cloud-based analytics.
• Serve as a platform SME and configuration specialist, with in-depth knowledge of Trading Hub platforms and complex mathematical models.
• Design and develop surveillance solutions for various asset classes, utilizing existing models and best practices.
• You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and business teams, ensuring the surveillance ecosystem is robust, scalable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience in channel onboarding and social media integration, including the integration and communication of messaging channels and platforms (such as chats, voice, and social media) into a surveillance ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Behavox platform implementations and the ability to leverage its capabilities within compliance and surveillance environments.
• Deep domain knowledge in communications surveillance, with a strong understanding of regulatory and business requirements.
• Expertise in data migration and platform transitions, enabling seamless integration across email, chat, and mobile communication platforms.
• Experience working with AI, natural language processing (NLP), and large language model (LLM)-based solutions for communications review and surveillance.
• A solid understanding of capital markets, trading environments, and the unique compliance challenges they present.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
