Lead the strategy and execution of Pricing, Forecasting and Engagement Financial transaction initiatives as a trusted expert in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What will your typical day look like?

 

Reporting to the Business Integration Services (BIS) Leader in Central Business Services (CBS), you lead teams responsible for products, processes and transactional support focused on enabling effective client engagement financial management within Deloitte’s opportunity to engagement (O2E) solution. These teams include the Pricing Tool Application (PT App), Engagement Forecasting tools, SWIFT Client to Cash, WCM Billing Support for A&A and Tax and Advisory WBS Opening.    As a senior leader in BIS, you will partner with key stakeholders across the Businesses, Enabling Areas, BIS and the global network to shape priorities, identify risks, influence investment decisions, drive transformation initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the solution lead across engagement financial management products, processes and transactional services driving strategy, leading initiatives and overseeing the teams to advance, sustain and deliver integrated solutions as part of a cohesive Canadian O2E solution
  • Enable and influence collaboration and partnership across your teams, BIS leaders, and local and global O2E stakeholders, as well as cross-functional delivery teams, to understand evolving business needs and risks, define solution strategies and priorities, and drive aligned execution that delivers measurable business outcomes and a high-quality client experience
  • Oversee your team’s performance and outcomes, ensuring alignment to CBS and BIS operating standards, objectives, priorities and budgets
    • Define and manage an integrated product and service roadmap across engagement financial management, prioritizing each team’s delivery of operational and advancement activities in a coordinated, impactful manner
    • Operationalize team performance metrics, targets and monitoring mechanisms to drive accountability, track outcomes, inform decisions and address concerns
  • Lead governance forums and working sessions with engagement financial management business leaders and stakeholders to gather insight on system, process and service concerns within engagement financial management, to align on priorities for sustainment and optimization and drive solution adoption   
  • Set direction and drive execution of initiatives, defining scope, approach and delivery in partnership across BIS and with DT-CA, and other Canadian and global stakeholders
  • Represent Canada’s interests on local and global committees and forums to influence global engagement financial management solution strategies, investment decisions and delivery outcomes in alignment with Canadian O2E priorities
  • Provide direction and oversight on global change requests to support issue resolution and ongoing product enhancement
  • Act as a recognized subject matter expert for PT App, Engagement Forecasting, SWIFT CTC, WCM billing and engagement financial management concepts providing strategic guidance, best practices oversight, and end-to-end process leadership
  • Contribute to the success of BIS as a member of the leadership team by working collaboratively, proactively addressing issues and risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies, delivering projects, mentoring team members, aligning team capacity to delivery needs, and ensuring consistent, cohesive, and effective design and support across the O2E solution

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

  • You bring the following must-have skills and experience:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience across enterprise transformation, implementations and operational support of cloud platforms (i.e. Salesforce, SAP, etc.)
  • Deep functional and technical expertise at the global and local level of Deloitte’s systems and products with advanced knowledge of the Pricing Tool Application, SWIFT Client to Cash Applications, and WBS Financial Management concepts and support operations
  • Proven experience across Canadian O2E teams and processes (Client and Opportunity Mgmt, Pricing, Contracting, WBS Opening, Engagement Financial Mgmt, etc.)
  • Deep expertise in the firm’s client pricing models and engagement financial constructs (e.g. Fixed fee, resource-based, milestone billing, alternative delivery models, contingent fees, etc.) and in the firm’s engagement financial management practices and concepts (e.g. SWIFT revenue recognition, WIP management, engagement contribution, DSO, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-stream, cross-functional delivery teams
  • Skills and experience in business process integration and optimization  
  • Experience with product ownership and delivery within a SAFe environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a proven track record of building relationships and establishing trust with individuals at all levels 
  • Familiarity with change management and adoption principles  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

Nice to Have:

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
  • Bilingual in English and French

 

 

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $260,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
