Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team of high performing corporate real estate (CRE) professionals, to work client-side building Deloitte Canada’s offices nationally.
What will your typical day look like?
In this role you will collaborate with other designers and project managers to deliver on CRE projects nationally for Deloitte, implementing workplace strategy and design standards to support Deloitte’s ORBIS ways of working. From small reconfigurations to $MM complex transformations, this role requires critical thinking and a strong understanding of the Architectural and Construction processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in design principles, experience with project documentation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for:
- Coordinate with consultant team and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution, leading design phases and aligning Deloitte project delivery teams
- Complete detailed reviews of plans, drawings, and elevation packages to provide prime and subconsultant teams with feedback to implement Deloitte requirements
- Select materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and branding elements and ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines
- Participate in project meetings to assess requirements and site visits to monitor progress
- Maintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standards
- Complete test fit plans for scenario planning
- Update design standards documentation, wayfinding plans, and help maintain accurate data on our office portfolio
- Coordinate with vendors ensure accuracy for product specification, quotes, orders, and installation logistics
- Track consultant and vendor invoicing for review and approval, coordinate with procurement and ARIBA teams as needed for vendor management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to inform design solutions and workplace strategy
About the team
The Deloitte Corporate Real Estate portfolio includes 25+ offices across Canada. The CRE has team has three streams, Workplace Strategy & Design, Project Management, and Leasing, with each stream lead reporting to the Director, Corporate Real Estate. The Interior Designer role is part of the Workplace Strategy & Design stream, and is also supported by global procurement, national finance/talent/technology/facility management teams to deliver the national program for Corporate Real Estate.

You are someone with these required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in interior design
- Proficiency in design software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of design principles, building codes, and construction processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient collecting and summarizing complex information concisely as a recommendation to share with leadership

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
