The Cloud Migration Manager/Senior Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing cloud migration and modernization projects. The candidate will be required to work closely with a diverse range of internal and external personnel—sponsors, stakeholders, technical teams, cloud hyperscaler teams and business users—to develop migration / modernization strategies, manage project delivery, and ensure seamless transitions to cloud environments.

As our ideal candidate, you will be a strategic leader with a strong understanding of both business needs and technical solutions. You will translate complex client requirements into actionable migration plans, overseeing all phases from assessment to post-migration support. Your previous experience in a professional services or large enterprise environment will enable you to leverage industry best practices to meet our clients' most critical business objectives. Your passion for learning will ensure we stay at the forefront of the cloud migration landscape.
You will help our clients resolve their most complicated business and technology problems to build, maintain, and improve their cloud presence. You will act as a trusted advisor, leading conversations around migration strategies, project governance, and organizational change management. While driving these recommendations, you will be responsible for leading the project delivery teams to ensure the solution is implemented successfully and efficiently.
Position Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end cloud migration lifecycle, including strategy, planning, and execution.
• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing IT infrastructure, applications, and data to determine migration readiness and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop detailed migration strategies, including planning for data migration, application refactoring, and minimizing downtime.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Oversee and guide a team of technical resources, providing mentorship and leadership on technical and professional development.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and potential issues proactively.
• Support the business development lifecycle by contributing to solution architecture, pricing, and proposal development for new cloud migration opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new cloud services.
• Implement governance and change management frameworks to ensure the migration aligns with business objectives and organizational readiness.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, building trust and positioning the firm for future engagements.
• Analyze and implement usage of Generative AI technologies to advance overall delivery quality and throughput
• Support leadership in advancement of Cloud migration practices

We are a specialized team within our Technology & Transformation practice, focused on the strategic, organizational, and technical elements required for successful cloud adoption. Our team is looking for a Manager and/or a Senior Consultant to join the team:
A senior consultant is a technical expert who can execute the end to end migration process. They are expected to work with autonomy and are the primary technical point of contact for clients.
• Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to cloud migration and transformation projects.
• Key Focus: This role demands a proven ability to lead and execute large-scale migrations. Must be an expert in developing detailed migration strategies, conducting assessments, and mitigating project risks. Responsible for building strong relationships and ensuring the project's technical success.
A manager is a seasoned professional who uses their technical expertise for strategic oversight, team leadership, and business development. To guide the team to successful project delivery.
• Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT and cloud migration, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Key Focus: The manager's primary responsibilities are to manage the team and the business. They leverage their technical background to make high-level decisions, handle project escalations, and align migration initiatives with broader business objectives.
For both the roles we are looking for candidates who have the following Qualifications:
• Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and the current competitive landscape of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Demonstrated experience in defining and leading the implementation of cloud migration strategies for large and complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of migration methodologies (e.g., the 6 R's: Rehost, Replatform, Rearchitect, etc.) and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, identify and address client needs, and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Strong understanding of technical concepts such as cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, DevOps, networking , security, data management, and emerging technologies such a Gen-AI tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, or a professional cloud certification like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
