The Cloud Migration Analyst/Consultant will be a key member of the Cloud Migration practice, contributing to the planning and execution of cloud migration and modernization projects. The candidate will work closely with project teams, including technical teams, cloud hyperscaler teams, and business users, to help deliver successful migrations and modernization and ensure seamless transitions to cloud environments.
What will your typical day look like?
As our ideal candidate, you will be a hands-on contributor with a strong foundational understanding of cloud technology. You will help execute migration plans, contributing to all phases from assessment to post-migration support. Your enthusiasm and desire to learn will ensure we stay at the forefront of the cloud migration landscape.
You will help our clients resolve their most complicated business and technology problems, assisting with the build, maintenance, and improvement of their cloud presence. You will work within project teams to implement migration strategies, manage project tasks, and contribute to client communications. You will be responsible for executing project tasks as part of the delivery team to ensure solutions are implemented successfully and efficiently.
Position Responsibilities
• Execute tasks throughout the cloud migration lifecycle, from initial strategy to project execution.
• Work collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Conduct assessments of existing IT infrastructure, applications, and data to determine migration readiness.
• Implement detailed migration strategies, including data migration and application deployment, while minimizing downtime.
• Contribute to managing project timelines and resources, ensuring project deliverables are on time.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks, dependencies, and potential issues.
• Contribute to the business development lifecycle by gathering information for new cloud migration opportunities.
• Facilitate client workshops and training sessions to support the adoption of new cloud services.
• Help implement governance and change management frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
• Analyze and research usage of Generative AI technologies to advance overall delivery quality and throughput
• Support leadership in advancement of Cloud migration practices

Our Cloud Migration practice is dedicated to helping our clients accelerate their digital transformation journeys. We are a specialized team within our Technology & Transformation practice, focused on the strategic, organizational, and technical elements required for successful cloud adoption. Our mission is to guide clients through complex cloud migrations, leveraging modern methodologies and a consultative mindset to deliver tangible business value.

Our team is looking for a Consultant and/or Analyst to join the team:
• A Consultant is a hands-on contributor who works as a part of a team to implement and execute a project from start to finish with minimal guidance to deliver project outcomes.
o Years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT, with some experience in cloud or technology-related projects.
o Key Focus: This role demands a proven ability to contribute to the execution of cloud migration projects. Must have a foundational understanding of migration strategies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• An Analyst is a junior professional who is at the start of their career with the appropriate foundational knowledge. They are expected to follow established processes to support the team to deliver project outcomes.
o Years of Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT or a related field, with a keen interest in cloud technology.
o Key Focus: This role requires a strong eagerness to learn and a desire to contribute to the technical and business aspects of cloud migration. A foundational understanding of technology concepts and a proactive mindset are essential.
For both roles, we are looking for candidates who have the following Qualifications:
• Foundational understanding of Cloud Computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Some experience or knowledge with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with migration methodologies and best practices is a plus.
• Strong ability to work with a team, identify needs, and address them.
• Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Strong foundational understanding of technical concepts such as cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, Networking, Security, data management, and emerging technologies such a Gen-AI tools
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
