The role of today’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has never been more important or more demanding. The CFO is both the strategic and operations leader of a fundamental function, whose core processes, resources, and technologies impact virtually every organizational activity.

What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte provides a comprehensive suite of services to support the CFO in this unique position as integrator of corporate governance, process transformation, performance management, technology implementation and business strategy. Our Finance Transformation professionals work with our clients’ finance executives to optimize shareholder value and transform the finance function.

As a Consultant, You Will:
•    Work collaboratively in teams to analyze client issues and interview key personnel.
•    Develop recommendations and presentations for client engagements.
•    Support teams in delivering value to clients across a wide variety of projects. Typical projects include: finance process design, system design and implementation, operating model design, amongst others.
•    Identify issues, define symptoms, and recommend solutions.
•    Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting.

We draw on our global network of professionals and industry experiences to tailor solutions to our clients’ most urgent needs. Whether setting a vision, developing strategy, designing the Finance operating model, improving processes or deploying technology solutions, we are passionate about helping Finance leaders improve their operations and achieve their business goals.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are driven to help organizations reimagine and optimize their finance functions, leveraging innovative solutions and best practices. 

 

You bring:

•    Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials.
•    An accounting designation (CPA) or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
•    2-5 years of relevant work experience in finance or consulting.
•    Deep expertise in financial management disciplines, such as financial process design, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, financial performance management, analytics and data modelling, and business case development.
•    Experience with, or interest in, acquiring knowledge of systems and technologies that support the finance function, such as SAP, Oracle, Blackline, Workiva , etc. .
•    Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
•    Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
•    Superior verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
•    Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving.
•    Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
•    Canadian travel required; occasional international travel. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.

 

Quebec Location: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
