We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our Information Technology Services team. This opportunity is posted at the Senior Manager level; however, depending on the applicant’s experience, skill set, and current role, we may hire at the Manager level. Candidates with a proven track record in IT service delivery, project management, and team leadership are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the appropriate level based on their experience and qualifications.

Collaborative, resourceful and highly organized, the successful candidate will lead project teams comprised of Subject Matter Experts from across Deloitte Technology. (i.e. Technology and Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, DT Security, Project and Portfolio Services, DT Financial Management) and work closely with other service areas within Deloitte (i.e. Data & Insights, Finance, Talent, Legal, Privacy and Risk, Corporate Development Office, Business Sponsors from Audit & Assurance, Technology & Transformation and Operate Joint Venture, Strategy, Risk, & Transactions, and Tax & Legal). 

What will your typical day look like?

  • Demonstrate project management expertise through management of medium to large projects of varying complexity.  
  • Manage all project-related deliverables (including project charters, schedules, budgets and financials, resourcing, risk identification and regular updates) for infrastructure technology deployment and acquisition projects
  • Maintain quality of technology standards by contributing to the consistent application and enforcement of organizational standards
  • Provide indirect leadership / management / mentorship to other project managers leading acquisition and divestiture initiatives.
  • Leverage strong communication and interaction skills to develop, maintain and leverage relationships with our external clients and DT peers. This requires gaining an understanding of both business practices and the services and technologies delivered by DT. Leverage official messaging in educating internal and external stakeholders on DT standards, initiatives, points of views, etc.
  • Leverage strong technical and analytical skills to lead groups / work with other teams (weak-matrix environment / informal reporting relationships) to effectively deliver projects
  • Act as a technical liaison, providing guidance to internal and external stakeholders on technology requirements to support their business needs.  
  • This requires a strong ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and vice versa.
  • Act as a role model for Deloitte values and behaviors including operating “As One”. Cultivate and reinforce these values, norms and behaviors within the team, and the larger ITS organization.
  • Continue to develop/refine the DTS Acquisition / Divestitures Playbook to drive standardization, improvements, and efficiencies within the overall acquisition process.
  • Note that when not leading acquisition and divestiture projects, the senior project manager will be expected to lead other Deloitte Technology Support or infrastructure projects.

About the team

The Deloitte Technology Support team is dedicated to managing acquisition and divestiture projects, supporting Deloitte's growth strategy through strategic business purchases and sales. The team brings expertise in infrastructure technologies, including desktops, server hardware/software, virtual/cloud infrastructure, and networks. This is a high-performance team committed to delivering excellence in every project.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • Completed post-secondary program or degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experiences.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a project manager with direct experience in technology operations and support, preferably within
  • Consulting or Professional Services industry 
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification is an asset
  • PMP designation is an asset
  • Previous experience managing an acquisition is an asset
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively with senior Deloitte leadership. The incumbent will also need to possess strong stakeholder management skills when dealing with both internal Deloitte Partners and external business personnel. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adjust messaging as appropriate to the audience.
  • Ability to ‘see the big picture’ and connect related facts and issues spanning multiple complex projects and initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead a matrix-based team to deliver projects successfully
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, highly demanding environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and resources accordingly is essential
  • Experience in the implementation of standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Knowledge / understanding of Deloitte’s project management processes, technology standards and business structure / operations is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English-French and/or English-Spanish) is an asset

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
