What will your typical day look like?

 

Plan and manage tax-service engagements for tax planning, the restructuring of private companies and estate planning for managing shareholders. Take the initiative to offer our clients pertinent and attractive tax-related ideas in order to optimize their corporate structure. Oversee the most complex aspects of preparing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals, and manage these aspects. Participate in the development and delivery of tax training programs. Act as a coach and mentor for members of the tax team to help them achieve their full potential.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:

  • A bachelor’s in accounting or law
  • A master’s degree in taxation, specialized post-graduate diploma (DESS) in tax or completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course;
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Canadian tax, mainly in tax planning for private corporations;
  • Experience with the development of creative solutions to clients’ tax problems, client communications, management of client expectations and team leadership;
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of accountabilities when managing a large number of tax mandates.
