About the team

 

Our Internal audit team functions by teaming with, or serving as, the internal audit function to make improvements in internal control and process efficiency and contribute to effective regulatory compliance. We provide input to established client’s internal audit functions on their strategy and purpose, resourcing models and technology.

What will your typical day look like?

 

As an Internal Auditor you will be responsible for conducting audits/investigations on our client’s business processes or IT systems. Your role scope primarily will include using established tools/methodologies to develop audit plans, collect and analyze data, write audit reports and present results. A typical day in this role will involve – collaborating with team on client issues, client presentations, project planning, status reporting etc

You will have opportunity to deal with clients in a wide range of industries and government sectors. 

As an Internal Auditor, you may also provide risk consulting services such as conducting client risk interviews, co-facilitating risk workshops, developing risk management policies and frameworks and assisting with risk mitigation strategies.

Go ahead and submit your application if you are someone with:

 

  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience
  • University degree in a business or accounting discipline with outstanding grades
  • Relevant professional designation (e.g. CIA, CISA, CFE, CAMS, CRMA)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in building positive relationships
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g. ACL) would be considered an asset
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to travel
