What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Tax Analyst, you will perform technical research of taxation issues; assist in the implementation of value-added tax planning strategies and assist in the preparation of detailed tax returns and other tax compliance filings. You will also communicate with and assist clients in their dealings with various tax authorities as well as communicate with tax authorities to obtain information or conduct follow-ups.

About the team

 

Univation is a tech-enabled business solution that we use to provide our full suite of services—including advisory, bookkeeping and financial compliance services—to the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) market segment. The Univation team and brand will play an important role in the evolution of the SME market segment, following the work already done to refine our go-to-market strategy for large priority accounts and for our medium-sized clients. The new Univation platform and brand fueled by latest in-cloud technology will provide us with a unique way to deliver our message to the market!

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone who:

  • Has a Tax and/or Accounting degree or similar post-secondary diploma - CPA In-Depth Tax Course is an asset
  • Accounting designation an asset;
  • Has up to 2 years of relevant work experience in Canadian tax
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Has experience working in a team environment and strong organizational skills
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills in French (mandatory) and English (asset)
