What will your typical day look like?


In this role, you work in a collaborative team environment to analyze issues and address client challenges related to risk management, regulatory compliance and business transformation. In a typical day you will build and maintain client relationships, assess processes, procedures and controls, as well as perform research to help the engagement team evaluate options, identify opportunities for improvement and provide advice to clients. You will be expected to lead and develop team members while supporting client engagements and contribute to firm initiatives by supporting development of proposals, thought leadership, campus recruitment and market facing initiatives.

About the team


Our Federal Financial Services Institutions (Fed FSI) team is based in Ottawa and works with Financial Crown Corporations to solve their risk management, compliance and business challenges. We bring experience and leading practice from Financial Institutions and right-size it for our government affiliated clients to align with their regulatory environment. We are looking for highly motivated leaders to join and build out our team!

You are someone with:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance risk management, business transformation, and/ or internal audit;
  • Eligible to receive Government of Canada Security Clearance – Secret II Level;
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with limited direction as part of solution teams;
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to tackle problems systematically to determine root causes of issues and develop effective solutions
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, that allow you to adapt to a variety of clients and situations; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business professionals
