What will your typical day look like?


General Responsibilities:
•    Serve as an ambassador for the Deloitte Greenhouse brand in the Ottawa marketplace
•    Ensure the highest level of hospitality and experience is delivered during Greenhouse sessions and validated by client feedback
•    Manage the day-to-day operations of the Ottawa Greenhouse including overseeing the duties of the Greenhouse Coordinator, Lab associates and technology support personnel
•    Ensure proper scheduling, hosting, and delivery of client collaboration sessions within the Greenhouse.  All arrangements need to be aligned to the strategic direction
•    Implement and continuously observe operational & client experience policies, procedures and supporting communications material that can be leveraged and implemented nationally as a best practice
•    Identify issues/risks that will impact the operations of the Greenhouse and/or the client experience and provide recommendations on how best to resolve or mitigate
•    Ensure client service guidelines and policies are communicated and integrated into all offerings
•    Collaborate regularly with relevant internal teams (i.e. Innovation, Analytics, Digital, Business Operations, IT, Marketing) to foster alignment and a dialogue of feedback and continuous improvement 
•    With leadership approval, work with the procurement team to identify suppliers and/or partners who would support the delivery of the ultimate client experience and make recommendations to leadership accordingly
•    Lead and deliver Greenhouse related projects as required
Event Management & Client Service Experience
•    Work with team to ensure a client experience strategy has been built into every Greenhouse session
•    Lead Greenhouse orientations and client tours
•    Inspire and continuously improve event planning playbooks and ensure that all client experience elements are considered

We are hiring a Greenhouse Specialist for our Ottawa Greenhouse @ Bayview Yards.   

The Greenhouse Client Experience Specialist manages the day to day operations of our Ottawa Greenhouse to ensure we deliver an exceptional and differentiated client experience for all of our visiting clients, including those at the VP or C-suite level.   The Greenhouse has multiple locations across Canada and as such, the specialist will be working with the National team to implement and refine Greenhouse experience and operational processes and standards. Specifically in Ottawa, the specialist will be working with multiple parties in the innovation centre to build and extend our connections with the innovation ecosystem. The specialist will report directly to the Montreal Greenhouse Manager.  The ideal candidate for this role will have both a passion for and demonstrated experience in delivering innovative and exceptional client service and hospitality.

You are someone with: 
•    A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional services consulting environment  or  3-5 years of hospitality or event management experience in a leading edge conference center environment 
•    Post-secondary education in business management or marketing 
•    Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client experiences
•    Demonstrated ability to deal with multiple priorities in a high pressure, client focused environment; Excellent organizational and time management skills required
•    High attention to detail and task orientation with an ability to problem solve
•    Proven ability to coach, guide and collaborate with others where no direct reporting relationship exits
•    Project management skills and ability to be self-directed and manage a range of initiatives with minimal guidance
•    Ability to think both strategically and tactically to enable the execution of initiatives at an operational level
•    Strong communication and presentation skills in both French and English (ability to develop clear messages to effectively inform and influence decisions of senior leaders)
•    Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint
